Monday to Friday this highly valued service provides information on issues from blue badges to benefits for disabled people, their families and carers throughout Allerdale and the West Coast.

Our trained volunteers provide free practical support and advice, and with welfare rights we can assist you with completing benefits application forms and support your case through medicals up to appeal and tribunal level.

For help with welfare benefits we use an appointments system to ensure you get the time needed to complete forms in a confidential setting.

Drop in Centre

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays the centre offers a warm and welcoming environment where people with a physical disability can come together and feel less socially isolated and excluded. You can have a coffee and a chat, with volunteers on hand to make introductions and encourage the widening of social circles. Here you can make new and lasting friendships.
